Siti Roziana Binti Zin, better known as Ziana Zain originates from Merlimau, Melaka. This beautiful singer and actress is also a well-known brand ambassador and entrepreneur. Ziana Zain started her career in the local music industry in the year 1990 with international recording company BMG Asia Pacific and has captivated her Malaysian fans with her signature single album Madah Berhelah. Ziana has then amazed audiences and also the Malaysian music scene with her other famous hit songs such as Anggapanmu, Setia Ku Di Sini and Puncak Kasih. Among her other international albums are Lukisan Wajah Kasih, Chitose Bashi – Asian Voices, Feel Me Out and Groove Me – duet with Jo Awayan, A Whole New World – Beauty and the Beast and Strive for the Best while her famous albums are Ziana Zain, Aku Cintakan Mu and Dingin.
Ziana’s talent as a singer was established internationally when she was nominated as Voice of Asia in Kazakhstan during the year 1995. In addition, her name has also been ‘engraved’ in the Malaysia Book of Records as the first ever female singer to win the Voice of Asia in its history.
Besides, Ziana also has a love for acting and has acted in various movies such as Sembilu, Sembilu II, Maria Mariana, Merah, Maria Mariana II, Sembilu 2005 and Pontianak Menjerit, Qabil Khushry Qabil Igam and Magika and also in dramas such as Serunding, Cermin Pada Bulan, 4 Diva Sekampung, Tetamu Allah, Nur Kasih Di Jabal Rahmah, Mati Tunngu Sekejap and Bisik Pada Allah. She also appeared in music theatres with shows such as Teater Muzikal Gamat 2 dan Teater Muzikal Antara.
Ziana was also an ambassador for products such as Avon, NutriBeaute & Omega Timepieces, Head and Shoulder Shampoo, B&H Health Product, SlumberLand Vono Mattress, Loreal, Brilliant Rose, Nutrimetics Cosmetics & Skincare, Slimword, Antabax, DutchLady, Safi Rania and Age Tech.
Meanwhile, in 2005, Ziana became the first Malaysian artiste to release her signature perfume Truly and the brand was distributed by Nutrimetics. She was also an endorser for Vono Mattress for almost 10 years.
In 2016, Ziana successfully became an entrepreneur with her brand Ziana Zain’s World, which manufactures and sells shawl and scarves.
Overall, in the 20 years of Ziana’s career in the music industry, she has collaborated with numerous other celebrities such as Jim Brickman, Cindy Crawford, Anna Kournikova, Kate Bosworth, Shah Rukh Khan and Ralf Schumacher.
