The Philippines has been recognised as Asia’s Best Country for Women’s Equality at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2022/23. This recognition acknowledges the country’s efforts in reducing gender inequality and promoting women’s participation in various fields, including education, politics and the workforce.

The Top Asia Corporate Ball is an annual event that recognises excellence and innovation in the corporate world among other fields. YAM Tunku Mariam Zaharah Almarhum Sultan Iskandar presented the the award to H.E. Charles C. Jose, Ambassador of the Philippines during the event.
