UNIIQ, a newly launched Malaysian kombucha brand, is taking its pledge to keep Malaysian health to the next level with an emphasis on promoting physical and mental wellness through its kombucha beverages and its new “This Is Me” campaign.
UNIIQ’s emphasis on physical and mental wellbeing is driven by the growing need to address concerns on both fronts across the Malaysian community.

On the physical front, the pandemic has raised the appetite for being healthy – with some 65% of Malaysians exercising regularly since the start of the Movement Control Order (MCO), whilst simultaneously making it more critical than ever to maintain overall wellness due to the on-going pandemic concerns.
Mental health has also been a topic of concern with an increasing number of Malaysians, facing anxiety and depression in recent times with 44% of Malaysians stating that their mental wellness has been affected since the pandemic.

Looking to take its empowerment beyond the physical, UNIIQ has launched the This Is Me campaign to promote mental wellness. Encouraging people to express themselves and unfold one’s identity, UNIIQ unveiled a Story in a Bottle initiative.
Rolled out on social platforms, UNIIQ is encouraging people to share by collecting their stories, words of wisdom, and inspirational quotes. The messages are then printed on every UNIIQ kombucha bottle to serve as motivation and encouragement to all consumers as they are inspired by one another.
This Is Me Campaign was conceived in the hopes of delivering a gentle reminder for everyone to take a moment to cherish the uniqueness that shines within themselves. By providing positive messages and quotes on every bottle, UNIIQ wants to invite all Malaysians to participate in spreading happiness and positivity to their communities.
UNIIQ has further collaborated with Skybi, an online mental health platform offering accessible and affordable mental health services for Malaysians. The partnership will see Skybi’s team of registered mental health professionals contributing to the campaign by sharing inspirational and motivational quotes for the Story in a Bottle initiative.
