In an interview with Top 10 of Malaysia, he shares insights into his journey and the values that have guided his success.
Peter Liu’s career journey began at the age of 13, when he took on a commission-based sales role while he was studying. Over the years, he has worked in various positions in corporate companies. Regardless of the role, Peter has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, earning a reputation for outstanding performance.
“The founder of Lavince Gold Jewellery Sdn Bhd started from humble beginnings and realised the precious value of gold at a turning point in his career. To adapt to market changes and shape a new fashion-forward gold jewellery brand, he successfully created Lavince Gold Jewellery,” shares Peter.
In response to market needs, Peter joined the company and launched a series of gold jewellery products with extraordinary stories, promoting “gold that tells stories” to create unique gold products. “Today, Lavince Gold Jewellery is well-known in Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Indonesia, offering no labour charges and special low gold rates for members, making physical gold investment both worthwhile and fashionable. Lavince Gold & Jewellery has grown to 12 branches across Sabah and Sarawak,” says Peter proudly.
“One of my favourite quotes from Jane Goodall, ‘Young people, when informed and empowered, when they understand that what they are doing can truly make a difference, can indeed change the world’, perfectly encapsulates what new entrepreneurs are striving to do. It’s important to stay humble and keep learning all the time.”
