Suki Low started her career in singing after she won Malaysia’s reality singing competition, One in a Million in 2006. Born in Seremban, she was only 16 years old when she showcased her talent and became the winner who walked away with a million ringgit. As a professional singer, Suki performs with passion and mesmerises her audience with her vocals and sweet, melodic voice.

A former student who studied at SMK Methodist (ACS), Seremban and SMK King George V, Seremban, Suki Low is no stranger to Malaysia’s music industry. A former winner of Malaysia’s One in A Million singing competition, Suki gained the majority of votes from viewers when she sang the songs, “Berdiri” and “Everything”.

Suki focused her time in singing and recording her songs for the first album in 2007. In 2008, she successfully produced her first album titled “Finally|Akhirnya”. The album consists of 11 songs in Bahasa Malaysia and English that include “Berdiri”, “Don’t”, and “Ku Teruskan”. Suki also sang the Bahasa Malaysia version of Camp Rock’s “This is Me” for Disney when the movie was shown in 2008 on Disney Channel Asia. The version of the song was produced by Kieran Kuek and the lyrics were composed by Nur Fatima.

In 2009, the talented singer joined The National Service Training Programme and was placed at PLKN Princess Haliza in Sepang with another former One in a Million contestant, Alif Satar (who won the third place in the competition) and also actress, Diana Danielle. Their experience was documented on a reality television show called “Project NS” that was aired on 8TV. Suki married businessman, Jeremy Chong in 2012 and the couple is blessed with three beautiful children.

She was selected to participate in Gegar Vaganza 8 (2021), a reality television show produced by Astro. The show provides an opportunity for professional and experienced singers to compete in a singing competition. Suki won third place.

Subsequently, Suki’s new single titled “Nelangsa” was released by Alternate Records in 2022. The song was composed by Farouk Roman and written by Senna as the official soundtrack for the movie, “The Assistant”. She is extremely thankful to be given the chance to be the singer for “Nelangsa” as it became her first single after her first album which was produced many years ago.  It was also Suki’s first experience in singing an official soundtrack song for a movie.

This year, Suki was among Malaysian artistes who did a voice-over for characters for the Malaysian edition of Disney’s live action movie, “Pinocchio”. The movie was premiered on Disney+Hotstar simultaneously with its English version that was released on the same channel worldwide. Suki played the voice-over role as the puppeteer Fabiana and her marionette Sabina. It was a dream that became a reality and a memorable experience for Suki to be granted the opportunity to lend her melodic voice for Disney’s characters.
